not had a chance to update in a while, real life got in the way! feel like april has just flown by. i wish time could just stop and let me catch up a bit! but no, before you know it, it's may! grr! but it's not all bad - spring has sprung and that means a fresh start, new beginnings and will hopefully give me a kick up the bum to spring clean my life! going to make the effort to post more next month so watch this space!

my ring and nail polish

keep finding blue and orange everywhere! all over the spring/summer shows, in the magazines and even on my silver ring! i'm on a serious hunt for some turquoise jewellery and the mark fast dress seems to be the perfect shade. the colours make me think of sun, sea and sand - st tropez? need to book a holiday i feel! better start saving the pennies...

bargain hunt

you know when you just need new things? been feeling like that a lot lately. but im on a budget, so where better to feed the shopping addiction than primark?! the belt was £1 and i'm so impressed with this bag for £3 - it looks like it could be topshop (spot the cat in the pic!). don't exactly know how i'm going to wear the lace top - don't think i'm brave enough to reveal the bra just yet! the denim shirt is a great cardigan substitute for summer, already worn it with leggings and brogues. i found these amazing nail polishes (thanks to walk the sand) for £1.50 each! they look pretty much the same colour here but they are different i tell you! one is bright blue, one cornflower blue and the other is grey. currently wearing the cornflower blue one and everyone has been asking where it's from - emm... asda...! talk about bargainous!

i haven't received this month's vogue yet... i moved flat last month and i'm worried that it hasn't been redirected to my new place! despair!! alas, the wonders of the internet have provided me with a teaser of its contents, or at least, this yummy editorial which makes me want to wear heels in the sand. maybe i should go round to the old flat in search of what is rightfully mine! now?

this month's vogue includes editorials with kate moss, freja beha erichsen and lara stone, but my favourite is this one with guinevere van seenus by javier vallhonrat. probably because everything looks like miu miu! also, when i grow up, i want my bedroom to look like this. looks so seductively sexual don't you think? anyhoo, back to the subject at hand - i want miu miu shoes! ok, so i don't have enough money for porridge never mind a £340 pair of shoes! but just check out these beautes -

i wouldn't say they were very 'me' and i have no idea what i would wear them with but they seem to be calling out to me in all their satin-y-swallow tastiness. and lastly, for anyone with a shoe fetish, backstage at the miu miu show (beware of the following - contains shoe porn...)

so, i know it's only just turned april - and it was snowing last week! - but i'm already looking forward to summer! with the sunny nights we've been having it feels like summer is just around the corner! however, all the nude shades around at the moment make it easy to forget about the bright prints of the spring/summer shows, and i want some colour! loving the tribal style dresses of dries van noten and lanvin, mixed with lady-like hair and accessories; the digital prints of proenza schouler and the overall playful colourfulness of marc by marc are amazing! makes me wanna put on my new ray-bans and pretend that it's hot outside!
